Ellen joined the Firm’s Boca Raton office in May 2005 following ten years as a sole practitioner where she focused on residential real estate matters, title insurance, corporate law, and business transactions. Prior to forming her own firm, Ellen established the law department and served as Director of Legal Affairs for a national long-distance telecommunications company.
Ellen was born and raised in New York and is a graduate of Cornell University (A.B., 1978) and Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (J.D., 1986). She was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 1987 and the State of Florida in 1987.
Since joining the firm, Ellen has concentrated her practice in the areas of government guaranteed lending, conventional commercial financing, and real estate. She has closed thousands of U.S. Small Business Administration 7(a), 504, CAPLine and Export Working Capital loans. She is also a title agent for several national title insurance companies. Ellen currently works on loan modifications and servicing actions for the Firm’s lender clients.
While originally from New York City, Ellen has lived in Boca Raton, Florida for over 30 years. She is an avid golfer and stays in shape by taking interval training high intensity classes.
