Matthew “MJ” joined the Firm in October 2024. He is a Florida-licensed attorney practicing out of the Firm’s Orlando office. Prior to joining the Firm, MJ gained valuable experience at a highly regarded defense litigation firm in downtown Miami, where he represented high-profile carriers in high-stakes litigation matters. He then joined a boutique business and investment law firm in Winter Park, Florida, representing high-net-worth clients in a variety of commercial real estate transactions, buy-sell agreements, and private securities offerings.
MJ received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science – Pre-Law, with a minor in Intelligence and National Security, from the University of Central Florida in 2018. He earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in Coral Gables, Florida. While in law school, MJ was a member of the Student Bar Association and the Business Law Society, and participated in the Investor Rights Clinic, where he represented low-income individuals in disputes involving broker-dealer fraud and misconduct.
MJ currently practices in the areas of commercial finance, particularly Small Business Administration 7(a) lending, commercial real estate, and business acquisitions. When not practicing law, MJ enjoys spending time with his wife and dogs while watching the Miami Hurricanes or Liverpool F.C.
